The basic function of Interra KNX Line Connector is to combine two KNX TP lines (main line and subline) by providing galvanic isolation between them. Due to its flexibility, the ITR901-002 coupler unit can be used as a KNX line combiner or KNX zone coupler (to connect a TP line to a TP zone or backbone) or KNX repeater (without filtering). Operational and filtering states, faults and faulty communications are indicated via LEDs.

The ITR901-002 can filter traffic based on mounting location and group configuration in the bus system hierarchy. 

The ITR901-0002 supports long commissioning (up to 240 bytes APDU length) and arming/troubleshooting, a configurable “Manual Function” with one-button activation, and auto-shutdown to temporarily disable filtering
